Three big rigs were involved in a collision on Interstate 5 north of State Route 138 near Gorman early in the morning of Tuesday, September 24th. One truck driver suffered serious injuries to his leg.

Aroung 1:30 a.m., one of the semi trucks rear-ended another truck, which in turn crashed into another truck. One of the big rigs was carrying large steel beams, which littered Interstate 5, prompting a SigAlert. Only one lane of the northbound 5 was open before 6:30 a.m., when all lanes were closed to remove the debris from the scene.
