Landscape Structures recalls slides due to falling hazard

About 900 Slalom Glider children’s slides were recalled after receiving 16 reports of injuries to young children. Due to design failure, children could fall when moving form the ladder to the slide. These injuries were serious, including numerous fractures and one case of internal injuries. The recalled slides were made in the United States. See the recall.

Ganz U.S.A. recalls teapots due to burn hazard

About 2,270 Dancing Teapots were recalled after discovery that the teapot’s handle can become dangerously hot when the teapot is full with hot water. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled teapots were manufactured in China. See the recall.

International Playthings issues recall for toys due to choking and laceration hazards

About 31,000 Tumblekins Toys were recalled after a report of a tumblekin breaking into small, sharp pieces. The recalled children’s toys were made in China. See the recall.

Advanced Sports recalls bicycles due to falling hazard

About 10,500 Fuji Saratoga Women’s Bicycles were recalled after 12 reports of the bicycle frame breaking while in use. Two injuries have been reported, including one serious injury that required 20 stitches for a gash to the head. The Fuji Saratoga bikes were made in China. See the recall.

Shimano American Corporation recalls bicycle handlebar stems due to falling hazard

About 300 Mountain Bicycle Handlebar Stems were recalled after a report of the bolts holding the plate of the stem body was pulled out of the threads while in use, causing an accident and injury. The recalled mountain bike stems were manufactured in Taiwan. See the recall.

Meijer recalls heaters due to fire and shock hazards

About 6,102 Forced Air Heaters were recalled after Meijer received a report of exposed and unshielded electrical components overheated, burned and melted, causing property damage. The recalled air heaters were made in China. See the recall.

Kelty issues recall for strollers due to falling and injury hazards

About 3,000 Kelty Single and Double Jogging Strollers were recalled after three reports of the front wheel becoming loose while in use. Adults involved have suffered serious injuries, including fractured bones, and children involved have suffered minor injuries. The recalled jogging strollers were manufactured in the Philippines. Worthington Cylinders Wisconsin recalls gas cylinders due to fire hazard

About 30,000,000 Map Pro, Propylene, and MAPP Gas Cylinders were recalled after discovery that the seal on the cylinders can leak after equipment is disconnected. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled gas cylinders were made in the United States. See the recall.

ECHO recalls backpack blowers due to fire hazard

About 16,000 Gas Powered Backpack Blowers were recalled after discovery that the fuel line between the tank and carburetor could be damaged during assembly, posing a fuel leak risk.
