Three people were injured in a six-vehicle chain-reaction crash in Fontana on the morning of Tuesday, January 8th. The crash occurred in Fontana, near the border with Rancho Cucamonga, at 7:55 a.m, on East Avenue. Three people were injured in the wreck.

According to authorities, traffic in the area was heavy at the intersection of East Avenue and Baseline Avenue due to students heading to school. A southbound Toyota Camry attempted to turn left through stopped traffic, but struck a northbound Nissan Altima, which was moving in the #2 lane at the time. The Altima struck a school bus and rearended a Nissan Sentra. The Sentra hit a Chevy Tahoe, which rearended a Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Altima suffered a cut on his head, and was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Sentra and her passenger were also hurt, and were also taken to Arrowhead. The school bus, carrying six students at the time, did not have any injuries.
