A serious accident claimed the life of a 46-year-old man and injured six others early in the morning of Sunday, August 3rd. The crash occurred on Interstate 10 in West Los Angeles.

A serious accident claimed the life of a 46-year-old man and injured six others early in the morning of Sunday, August 3rd. The deceased victim has been identified as Anselmo Hernandez.

The crash occurred at 2:55 a.m. on Interstate 10 near the National Boulevard off-ramp in West Los Angeles. According to authorities, a Toyota Camry and a Honda crashed into each other while heading west on the 10. Hernandez was a passenger in the Camry. Hernandez was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but died from his injuries.

One other passenger in the Camry sustained moderate injuries. Three other occupants of the Camry sustained minor injuries. The driver and a passenger in the Honda also experienced minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
