The application period for The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker Community Scholarship has passed, and now, we are ready to announce the recipients of the scholarship awards! First though, we want to say thank you to everyone who applied for the scholarship. Your dedication to community service is nothing short of inspiring!
$2,500 Scholarship Award
In a bit of a happy surprise, the scholarship committee could not decide on just one winner for the $2,500 scholarship, so The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker will actually be awarding TWO $2,500 scholarships. The recipients of the $2,500 scholarships are Andy H. and Olivia B. Andy impressed us with his community work promoting STEM topics around Los Angeles and Olivia wowed us with her varied community work in her adopted hometown of Bakersfield.
This fall, Andy will be attending California State University Los Angeles and Olivia will be attending Pepperdine University.
$5,000 Scholarship Award
Lynzie G. was chosen as the recipient of the $5,000 scholarship. The scholarship committee found Lynzie’s dedication to the arts and her mission of creating positive change in her community incredibly praiseworthy.
Lynzie will be attending UCLA this fall.
$15,000 Scholarship Award
The recipient of The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker Community Scholarship $15,000 scholarship award is Crystal E. Crystal was one of the first persons to submit her application, and we can see why: Crystal appears to be an exceptionally busy person! Her dedication to various human rights charities and campaigns won her extreme accolades from our scholarship committee, as did her career goals of combating social injustice in a unique and determined manner.
Crystal will be attending UCLA this fall.
