Three pedestrians were injured on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on the evening of Tuesday, March 31 when they were struck by a car allegedly involved in an illegal film shoot. The crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. in the 20300 block of PCH.

According to authorities, the vehicle was involved in the film shoot, which did not have a permit. The car hit a fire hydrant and three victims, sending at least two of the victims to local hospitals for minor to moderate injuries.

The crash caused a closure of Pacific Coast Highway in both directions for more than four hours. Traffic was diverted into a hilly residential area with windy roads. The incident remains under investigation.
