Multaq
Multaq, only recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in July 2009, has been linked to liver damage in some patients, including two patients that have required the removal of their entire livers. These patients had both been taking Multaq for under six months.
Multaq is a drug used to treat atrial flutter and fibrillation that could possibly lead to stroke. The FDA will be adding a new warning for liver damage to the labeling of Multaq, which already has a black box warning for severe complications, including death, in people who have recently experienced serious heart problems. If you or a loved one has experienced a severe liver complication while taking Multaq, contact The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker. You may be entitled to compensation.
