Ellen R. Serbin was born on September 22, 1959 in Selma, Alabama. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Pitzer College in 1981 and received her Juris Doctorate from University of San Diego in 1986.

Ms. Serbin is a member in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Consumer Attoneys of California. She specializes in appellate litigation, business litigation, construction defect, employment discrimination, insurance law, landlord/tenant litigation, real estate litigation, and earth movement/subsidence.

Ms. Serbin started at the firm in 1987, becoming partner in 1996 and name partner in 2002.
