Perona, Langer, Beck & Serbin is a Long Beach-based law firm which, with its predecessor firms, has produced one California Supreme Court justice and one United States Congressman. Beginning in 1992 the firm engaged in representing over 2,000 women in the national and state court litigation against the manufacturers and suppliers of breast implants including defendants such as Dow Corning, Dow Chemical, 3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing), Bristol-Meyers Squibb Pharmaceutical, Baxter Pharmaceutical and others for damages arising out of illnesses associated with those products. The firm's attorneys and staff participated in national discovery depositions.
